If youre familiar with CLI, I may still interest you in this small script that will generate a datapack from a texture pack.
- If the config folder
more-canvases/is missing, it will be initialised with an example config equivalent to v1.0. - Laxed dependency on minecraft version. Same jar works for all supported versions of MC. (And will probably work for a few older versions.)
With data-driven paintings coming to MCÂ 1.21, this is likely going to be the last update to this mod.
Repurposed the mod into a fully fledged custom-painting mod, which can work independently from Client-Paintings. Check Readme for details.
- New config files allows to register any arbitrary painting ID of any size.
- The old config file format and functionalities have been disused.
Generated paintings may now automatically be marked as placeable. This means an external datapack is no longer required to use all the defined sizes.
This is can be controlled in the config file by setting placeable to either true or false.
- More canvas sizes can be generated using a config file. Those sizes still need to be enabled via datapacks in order to be placeable
